 Why do you want to know my name and/or email address? Magic City Cigars (MCC) needs to know this information so we can keep a record of our current newsletter subscribers, cigar club members (once club is organized), and online buyers. Why do you need to know my credit card information and shipping address? MCC needs to know this information so we can sell and ship you cigar of the month shipments (for MCCC members only) as well as other premium cigar products and accessories. What other information do you keep track of, about me? MCC also keeps track of all orders that you place. If MCC needs to keep any other information (information not specified in this Privacy Policy, about you, you will be notified, in writing, via email or postal mail. How do you use my information? MCC uses your information to process online credit card transactions and to ship cigar products and accessories to you, the customer. How do you make sure no one steals my credit card information? MCC makes sure no one steals your credit card information by using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) transactions to process your credit card order. Your credit card information will be stored on a secure server for 7 days after the transaction has been made. After the 7 day holding period expires, your credit card information will be erased, permanently, from the database. Why do you hold my credit card information for 7 days? MCC holds your credit card information for 7 days in case we need to issue a credit for your purchase. This keeps MCC from having to ask you for your credit card information again. We do hold your credit card information for 7 days for your convenience. Do you share my information with other parts of your company? No, the only department that sees your information is the order processing department (email, credit card, shipping, order info) and our shipping department (order info, shipping, and email). Do you sell my information to anyone? ABSOLUTELY NOT. Your information is confidential and will not be sold to any individual and/or business/non-business entity. How can I start or stop receiving email from you? You may subscribe or unsubscribe to our newsletter, anytime, by submitting your email address (check either subscribe or unsubscribe) in the MCC newsletter submission box located on the home page. How do you protect the privacy of my email address and emails? MCC uses a web-based email system located on a third-party secure server. All of MCC's newsletter email addresses are also located on a separate, reputable, third-party secure server, hosted by http://www.yourmailinglistprovider.com. Who can I talk to about any questions I may have regarding my privacy? You may email any questions regarding your privacy to faq@magiccitycigar.com. Your questions will be answered in a timely manner. |
